If you’re looking for a place to stay in Frankenmuth, one that provides a touch of history along with it, The Bavarian Inn Lodge is just the place.

The Bavarian Inn Lodge has 360 guest rooms, with more than 19 different room types. All of the rooms are named after families who lived in Frankenmuth. Pictures and items representing the families are provided throughout the room and the hotel, as well in each of the guestrooms from that family.

"So we are really a living history for the city of Frankenmuth," said Martha Zehnder, a fourth-generation owner.

If you are looking for some nightly entertainment, the Lorelei Lounge is the perfect place.

"This is for sort of like our nightlife, for bar entertainment," Zehnder said. "We offer a nightly entertainment every night and then we also have an amazing bar menu to choose from."

Whether you’re seeking a fun martini, beer, wine, cocktail, whatever it may be, the lounge has something for you. There is also a bourbon bar that varies in capacity and is always presenting a fresh menu.

"We have a great selection on tap, but also Frankenmuth was the first place and the Bavarian Inn to get Hofbrau beer on tap," Zehnder said.

If you venture into the courtyard, you find a beautiful gazebo, where the inn has many weddings and ceremonies.

Zehnder said, "This is actually where we have our Sunday brunch every Sunday. We offer a great selection, over 35 items. We have live music, either a pianist or a harpist that will perform, but this room is also use for a lot of other things."

Many people know The Bavarian Inn Lodge for its fun, but the facility also has a banquet space.

"We actually have two banquet rooms. One can accommodate up to 500 and one can accommodate up to 250 people,” Zehnder said.

So if you are looking for an added touch of history to your trip, The Bavarian Inn Lodge has just that.
