Vehicle collides with house and bursts into flame in Allendale Township

ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. —

Ottawa County deputies said a man crashed into a house, which set it on fire Wednesday.

Deputies said the vehicle crashed into a house on the corner of 92nd Avenue and Pierce Street at 2:24 p.m. Dec. 16, 2020. An off-duty officer saw the driver get out of the vehicle and walk off.
The house and the vehicle were on fire when deputies and the Allendale Fire Department arrived.
The off-duty officer followed the 29-year-old Allendale man, who was not injured. Deputies arrested him a short time later.
