Through 8 am

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for the following counties in West Michigan, effective until 8 am Friday: Barry, Calhoun, and Eaton. Pockets of freezing drizzle may make hazardous driving conditions in the Advisory area, particularly on less-traveled, rural roads. The freezing drizzle is expected to end shortly before daybreak. Because of the potential for slick spots on area roads, drivers all around West Michigan should use a little more caution on this morning's commute.

Broncos hope to play BCS spoiler against Northern Illinois

DE KALB, Ill. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The WMU Bronco football team will get three hours of national TV exposure tonight as they hit the road to take on No. 18 Northern Illinois.

It could be the equivalent of a Stephen King double feature--gruesome.

The Huskies are favored by 35 points, but Bronco Head Coach P.J. Fleck says they're not making the trip just to try and keep it close.

Before the team hit the road, he said this is an opportunity to finish on a high and showcase the program in front of a huge audience.
