Girls' leggings recalled

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - There is a news alert for parents about a popular piece of young girls' clothing.

Retailer H&M Clothing has recalled about 65,000 pairs of girls' leggings.

They say a metal part on the belt can detach, posing a choking hazard.

There have been no choking incidents in the U.S. There is one reported case in the U.K.

The knit leggings were sold nationwide and online up until last month.

Consumers should remove the belt and contact H&M customer service on how to return the belt for a 20-dollar gift card.
