WIND ADVISORY

10 AM Until 2 AM Saturday

The National Weather Service maintains a WIND ADVISORY for nearly all of West Michigan from 10 AM this morning until 2 AM Saturday morning.  45 mph gusts are likely inland while 50 mph gusts are possible at the Lake Shore.  This kind of wind is capable of bringing down tree branches and creating some power outages.  Obviously, we hope that doesn't happen.  Winds blow from the northwest this morning then from the north by midday and beyond.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather today and always!

Man, woman behind bars in Paw Paw, accused of making meth

PAW PAW, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A man and woman are behind bars Wednesday night, and stand accused of making meth in the village of Paw Paw.

Van Buren County Sheriff's deputies say Wednesday  morning a 51-year-old woman was driving 33-year-old Michael Drew to several locations in Paw Paw to buy materials used to make meth.

When she dropped Drew off, deputies arrested him for an outstanding warrant in Kalamazoo County.

Other detectives then followed the female suspect to Kalamazoo County, where they arrested her.

Inside her car, they found meth and meth-making components.

She now faces several drug charges.
