Deal reached, but road funding decision to be made by voters  LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Lawmakers have reached an agreement on road funding.

The National Weather Service maintains a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in Barry, Calhoun, Eaton, and Jackson counties for freezing drizzle and slippery roads.  Freezing drizzle and some tricky spots were also observed in Kalamazoo county.  The ADVISORY expires at 8 AM, but freezing drizzle may linger until late morning.  Please be cautious, and have a safe morning commute.

Event aims for continued funding of road repairs

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Monday the Fix Our Roads GR committee will have its "final drive" campaign.

The committee is working toward a "yes vote" to continue a small portion of residents' income tax goes toward fixing city streets and sidewalks.

Monday's event will be at 5:30 at Brewery Vivant.

Some of the speakers will be M-DOT Director Kirk Steudle and Grand Rapids City Commissioner Rosalyn Bliss.
