Suspected one-pot meth lab left in hotel parking lot

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Battle Creek police are looking for who might be responsible for leaving a suspicious container suspected of being a one pot meth cook in a hotel parking lot.

Officers responded to the comfort inn on Capital Southwest Avenue just before 6:00 Thursday.

An employee found a small container smoking and bubbling inside a basket in the parking lot.

The container was setting next to an unoccupied tan or brown Ford Explorer.

Crews were able to remove the pot from the area a while later.

Police are now looking for two white men and two white women in their mid-20's who were last seen leaving in the Ford Explorer.

It is unknown at this time if the group had anything to do with the incident.
