(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The bomb squad is called to a West Michigan home after a woman finds an army relic.Emmett Township Public Safety officers and the Battle Creek Bomb Squad were called to a home in the 12000 block of Beadle Lake Road just before noon Sunday.They say the woman found an artillery shell while cleaning the house after her fiancee died. A friend, who is a veteran, said it could be dangerous, so she called police.Police say it was from the World War II and Korean War era, but did not know if it was active. They took it to Fort Custer to be destroyed.
