GM CEO to testify for second day on Capitol Hill

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The CEO of General Motors is getting ready for another day on the hot seat in Washington.

"We know there's been a lot of lives lost and lives impacted by this situation so first and foremost we want to reiterate that General Motors is sorry," Mary Barra said. "When I say that, I say that on behalf of the company of the men and women of General Motors as well as myself."

Barra will testify again Wednesday before a Senate subcommittee about why the automaker took so long to recall vehicles linked to fatal crashes.
