BLOOMINGDALE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) A man suffers severe burns in a trailer fire.

Crews were called to a fire in the 39000 block of 14th Ave. in Bloomingdale before 10 a.m. Saturday. They say fire was in an unconnected trailer behind a home.

A man in his 50s who uses a wheelchair was in the trailer at the time of the fire. He was able to get out, but suffered severe burns on his arms. Rescuers say he was alert and talking as he was taken to the hospital.
