Calhoun Co. woman struck, killed after getting stuck in snowbank

BARRY COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A West Michigan woman was killed Wednesday after being struck by a car.

It happened around 7:00 a.m. on M-66, near Casgrove Road in Maple Grove Township in Barry County.

Police say 30-year-old Samantha Koch got her car stuck in the snow on southbound M-66, and when she got out of her car, she was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

She was transported to Pennock Hospital, where she later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
