Suspect facing charges after calling threat to KRESA Drake Road campus

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A person is facing charges after prompting a major scare at a West Michigan school.

The Kalamazoo Regional Education Service Agency says its campus on Drake Road went into lockdown Thursday morning after a credible threat was called in.

Police tracked down the caller and arrested the suspect on charges related to threatening and harassing.

KRESA said students and staff were kept safe and the lockdown ended around 10:30 a.m.
