The National Weather Service in northern Indiana issues a HIGH WIND WARNING in Berrien county until 11 PM for 60 mph, or higher, wind gusts.  65 mph gusts have already been confirmed in Michigan City.  

A WIND ADVISORY remains for nearly all of West Michigan until 2 AM.  45 mph to 55 mph gusts are likely and have already verified.  Downed tree branches and some power outages are possible.  The wind direction is from the north, and winds will easily be sustained in the 25 to 35 mph range.

Police release photos of MSU shooting suspect

EAST LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The East Lansing Police Department has released surveillance images of a suspect in a shooting at an off-campus party near MSU.

The fatal shooting happened on Friday at an apartment complex on Cedar Street in East Lansing. The student who was killed was 20-year-old Dominique Nolff of Middleville, which is in Barry County.

The suspect is described as a black male; approximately 61-63 tall, approximately 170 lbs. and approximately 20-25 years of age. At the time of the fatal shooting it is believed he was wearing a black hooded North Face winter jacket, tan pants and black shoes. Its believed he received significant facial injuries during the struggle with the victims.
