No suspects in two overnight GR shootings

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) The Grand Rapids Police Department is looking for suspects after two shootings early Saturday.

Police say the first happened in the 900 block of Baxter at 12:55 a.m. A man in his early 20s was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the victim is not being cooperative. They do not have a description of a suspect.

The second shooting happened near the corner of 28th Street and Breton after 2 a.m. Police say the shooter fired into a car, hitting a 21-year-old man in the hand, abdomen and leg. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Both shootings are under investigation.
