New video released of 'space jump'

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - You likely remember the incredible so-called "space jump" in 2012 by Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner.

Baumgartner made the jump from 128,000 feet in altitude, a world record for a manned balloon flight.

He fell at speeds up to 843 miles per hour, faster than the speed of sound, and landed safely just over five minutes later.

Now, 16 months after the stunt, the Go-Pro camera company has released new video showing the 24-mile plunge from Baumgartner's perspective.

Take a look at the video above.
