W. Mich. man found guilty in brother's death

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A West Michigan man was found guilty of killing his brother Friday.

A Kent County jury convicted 18-year-old Royale Runyon of second degree murder and felony firearm.

Prosecutors say Runyon gunned down his brother Madhi Hayes in an alley off Worden Street in December of 2012.

Runyon is also a suspect in the shooting death of Hayes' former girlfriend Eve'vana Galloway.

So far, he has not been charged in her death.

Runyon is scheduled to be sentenced in February.
