State Police warn drivers to slow down on highways

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Michigan State Police are reminding drivers to slow down on the highways.

They say two motor carriers have been hit by other vehicles while on I-94 over the past two days.

Troopers were not injured in those crashes.

Accidents along I-94 have backed up traffic all day, including a semi which got stuck near I-196 earlier Tuesday.

That particular accident caused traffic to come to a near standstill for several miles.
