DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Effective Until 11 AM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 11 AM for nearly every county in West Michigan save for Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch counties.  Recent, heavy rainfall, and light winds are the perfect combination for fog production.  Visibilities may be as low as 1/4 mile or lower; that's enough to drastically change how you drive.  Please keep it safe this morning and travel slower, if you have to.  Additional stopping distance isn't a bad idea either.  Stay with wwmt.com for the latest weather updates!

Teen arrested after paint ball shootings

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A West Michigan teen is behind bars after going on a paint-ball shooting spree.

No one is laughing at this teen prank after three people were struck with paint balls in drive-by shootings.

The Grand Rapids Police Department says there were multiple incidents between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday night on the city's northwest side.

A 28-year-old man was hit in the head with a paint ball on Garfield Ave. A 37-year-old woman was hit while walking on Leonard Street and a male was struck with a paint ball outside a bowling alley.

Officers say homes and other property were also hit by flying paint. One of the victims helped police track down the 18-year-old suspect, who was arrested on multiple charges.

Anyone with damage is asked to call Grand Rapids police.
