Kalamazoo man recovering after Christmas night stabbing
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Kalamazoo man, recovering from several stab wounds, told police that his attacker greeted him by saying, "Merry Christmas."
The 53-year-old says he stepped outside his home on West Vine Street on Christmas night to see how much snow had fallen.
That's when he says a man approached him, said, "Merry Christmas," and attacked him with a knife.
The victim suffered severe cuts to his hands and stab wounds to his leg.
He is expected to recover.
