WMU med school campus set to be finished this summer

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Western Michigan University's new medical school campus is on schedule to be completed early this summer.

M-Live reports the W.E. Upjohn Campus in downtown Kalamazoo will be done by June 13.

The construction company working on transforming the old Pfizer building says more than 125 people are working on the $68 million project.

The new campus will include the original 350,000 square foot building, as well as a 33,000 square foot addition on the north end, and an all-glass addition on the west end.
