W. Mich. anti-war activists call on judge to end secrecy
WEST MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Two anti-war activists, whose homes were raided by the FBI a few years ago are asking a judge to end the secrecy surrounding their case.
Back in 2010, the FBI raided the homes of 23 activists, including some in West Michigan.
At the time, the agents said they were looking for connections to radical groups in Colombia and the middle east.
But the activists' attorneys say since the raids, there have been no charges and no signs that the investigation is continuing.
A judge has ordered private talks with prosecutors so that he can make a decision.
