Drug tip leads to two Van Buren Co. arrests
HARTFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A drug tip led to two arrests in Van Buren County.
The Sheriff's Department received a tip that someone had broken into a garage in the 62000 block of Red Arrow Highway in Hartford Township to make meth.
There, they arrested 40-year-old Michael Morrison, of Tennessee.
But police say he was not involved in making meth.
He was arrested on warrants of violating his conditional release in Tennessee, and failure to appear in Allgean County.
Police also arrested a 35-year-old Hartford man for breaking and entering, maintaining a meth lab, and for driving on a suspended license.
He is being held in the Van Buren County Jail.
