UPDATED: Muskegon Police investigate multiple homicide at Elks Lodge
MUSKEGON, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Three people are dead and several others injured after a shooting at the Muskegon Elks Charity Lodge early Sunday morning.
Police tell Newschannel 3 it happened just after 2 a.m. at 149 Ottawa Street.
Officers responded to the call of shots fired, and at the scene they found two men dead and five others with gun shot wounds and other injuries.
The five victims were taken to local hospitals for their injuries.
Just after 10:00 a.m., Muskegon Police identified a third fatality, a 20-year-old female, who was shot in the course of the incident.
She succumbed in the hospital to injuries sustained from the shooting, as well having been struck and run over by a vehicle fleeing the scene.
The conditions of the other four victims are unknown at this time.
Muskegon Police and the Michigan State Police Crime Lab are investigating at this time.
