Domestic assault call leads to meth bust in Gobles
GOBLES, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A 2-year old girl has been placed in protective custody after Van Buren County Deputies uncover a suspected meth lab at a home in Gobles.
Deputies say they were called to a home in the 300 block of East Main Street around 10pm Monday night on a domestic assault.
During the course of the investigation they learned a 24 year old male had left the scene prior to deputies arrival.
While speaking with a 29 year old female Deputies noted that she appeared to be under the influence of Methamphetamine. The woman consented to a search of the residence where Deputies say they found several one pot methamphetamine vessels and gas generators in the garage.
The suspected methamphetamine lab components were collected and disposed of by the Van Buren County Narcotics bureau.
The report will be forwarded to the Van Buren County Prosecutors Office for Operate/Maintain Methamphetamine Lab and other appropriate charges.
