Missing Bronson man's body found
BRONSON, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Police have found the body of Thomas Miller.
The 48-year-old Bronson man went missing last Saturday after he went out to look for his dog that had escaped from his yard.
Search crews have been looking for Miller since Sunday on land and from the air.
Officers say that his body was found in a treatment pond in Bronson near the water treatment center. Police tell Newschannel 3 that foul play is not suspected, but they are awaiting the results of an autopsy before making a final ruling.
Police say Miller’s body was found by an officer on Wednesday who was working within the search grid that had been established. The retention pond itself is about 400 yards from the cornfield where Miller’s dog was recovered on Tuesday.
