ZEELAND, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Zeeland City Council has approved an ordinance allowing restaurants to sell packaged alcohol to-go.
The council gave the okay Tuesday morning.
The push for the measure came after the announcement of a new brewery coming to town.
Zeeland lifted its alcohol ban in 2007. City leaders and business owners look at this new ordinance as the next step in revitalizing the downtown area.
