Zoo Mobile making stops in West Mich.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Zoo Mobile is zooming around West Michigan!
 
Binder Park Zoo is getting kids excited about animals by bringing the creatures right into local classrooms.
 
This week, the Zoo Mobile will travel to various playgroups through Calhoun County Early Childhood Connections, thanks to a grant the agency received to host the program.
 
“It makes kids understand and appreciate nature in a different way,” says zoo educator Amanda Bailiff. “It’s a way to add to your curriculum. ‘Hey were learning about this, but here are the live animals we’ve been talking about.’”
 
“I like the stories and I petted the turtle,” says four-year-old Jeffrey Michael. “I had fun!”
 
The Zoo Mobile makes every stop both educational and exciting, sharing the joy of the zoo with all of West Michigan.
 
“We love to travel and bring our animals to people,” Bailiff adds.
