Battle Creek to hold workshop on crime

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Recently the United States Senate voted to renew the Violence Against Women act, and on the heels of that vote city leaders in Battle Creek, including the police chief are looking for public input at an upcoming workshop.

“One of the greatest things we need is more transparency, I think they’ve seen some hot issues were people are left in the dark,” said Jeff Domenico, Battle Creek City Commissioner. “We need a face to these things, let them know we are in good hands.”

The workshop to discuss crime and perception is Monday at 6:00 pm at the Department of Public Works.
