Fake emails sent out to GVSU students
ALLENDALE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Grand Valley State University Police Department is asking those responsible for sending fake emails to GVSU students and faculty to stop immediately and turn themselves in.
Police say the culprits are posing as administrators and sending the phony emails through a GMail account.
The Assistant Director of Campus Police says he's treating the case as a criminal matter, and search warrants have been issued to find out who's responsible.
