Gumbo cook-off getting underway
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The 8th Annual Gumbo Cook-Off is set to get underway Sunday in Kalamazoo.
The cooking competition challenges 30 of the area's best chefs to make their favorite gumbo.
There will also be live music, a craw boil, and a fully stocked raw bar.
The event runs from noon to 7:00 p.m. at the Entertainment District on Edwards Street, and tickets are $20.
Keith Thompson and Andy Dominianni will be there as celebrity oyster shuckers.
