M-11 closed for resurfacing
KENT COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – There is a traffic alert for drivers in Grand Rapids.
Starting Monday M-11 will be closed from Breton Avenue east to Patterson Avenue for resurfacing.
It will also be closed from Patterson Avenue to east I-96 for reconstruction.
The project is expected to cost $9.75 million. Workers are upgrading traffic signals and adding a new sidewalk and lighting in that area.
During that time only one lane of traffic will be open.
Work is expected to wrap up in November.
