Town hall will discuss fracking process
ADA, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A town hall meeting is taking place Monday night in Ada to help people better understand the process of fracking.
State Representative Lisa Posthumus Lyons says she put it together after people came to her with their concerns over the issue.
Representatives from the Department of Natural Resource and the Department of Environmental Quality will be on hand.
They will show how fracking works and how it is regulated. They will also provide information on land leasing laws.
That meeting is Monday night at 6:30 at the Ada Township Hall.
