Updated: Multiple ejections in rollover crash on I-69

CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Emergency crews were on the scene of a serious crash in Calhoun County Thursday morning.

It happened around 9:00 a.m. near Mile Marker 44 on I-69. At 10:20 one lane of northbound I-69 has been closed.

Authorities say that a driver and nine passengers were in the van when it lost control on icy roads and rolled into the median.

Everyone in the van was injured. Three people were ejected from the vehicle in the crash, one person was pinned inside. Two people are in critical condition.

All of the van's occupants were taken to the hospital.

Roadways were slick in the area. Authorities say that there were between seven and 10 slide-offs near that stretch of the freeway Thursday morning.
