Woman videotaped while breastfeeding receives $200K settlement
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Deputy who was allegedly filmed while pumping breast milk will receive a settlement of around $200,000, Newschannel 3 has learned.
On Tuesday night, the Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners approved the settlement, which also included provisions for 8 lost days of sick time.
The accusation of spying surfaced in mid-October, and the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department started an investigation into the Sergeant accused in the case.
Newschannel 3 also learned Tuesday night that the Sergeant has left the Sheriff's Department as well.
