Program that helps seniors is expanding
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - More than 250 people are expected to celebrate the expansion of a Centra Care program in Kalamazoo County.
This expansion is called Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly or PACE.
This program will provide community-based medical and social services to low-income and elderly Kalamazoo County residents who may otherwise need nursing home care.
Centra Care expects to serve 225 people and hire nearly 70 employees.
That open house runs Wednesday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the new facility on 445 West Michigan Avenue.
