Mother of kids killed at Interfaith fire faces pre-trial hearing

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The mother of three children who were killed in a Kalamazoo fire is facing a pre-trial.

Jonetta Woods is trying to regain custody of her only surviving 4-year-old daughter.

Tuesday, attorneys tried to reach a resolution at a custody hearing in Family Court.

Woods' pre-trial hearing is scheduled for May 7th.

In February, 3-year-old twins Tevin and Te'niyah Williams, along with 1-year-old Ty'onna Henderson died in a fire at the Interfaith Apartments.
