Woman stabbed overnight in Battle Creek
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A woman was stabbed overnight after a fight over drugs got out of hand.
Police say it happened around 3:15 Saturday morning on Freemont Avenue in Battle Creek.
Newschannel 3 was told that the woman was arguing with someone she knew when she was stabbed.
It's unclear at the time just where she was stabbed, but we do know she was taken to Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek, where she's in stable condition.
A suspect was taken to jail on a charge of assault with intent to murder.
