Part of Capital Avenue to be closed Saturday in Battle Creek
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The City of Battle Creek Public Works Department said Thursday that Capital Avenue will be closed from Columbia Avenue to Lakeview Avenue.
The closure is expected to begin Saturday at 2:00 p.m., and run through Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
The city says the closure is necessary in order to repair a sewer main, and pointed out that detours would be in place.
Nonetheless, it is recommended that drivers seek alternate routes.
