DNA evidence links break-ins
VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Michigan State Police troopers have just released a sketch of a man believed to be behind at least two breaking and enterings in Van Buren County with the earliest one dating back to 2005.
DNA evidence left at a break-in in the 36000 block of 52nd Avenue in Paw Paw Township linked this suspect to another B&E that happened in July of this year at a home in the 28000 block of South Shore Drive in Almena Township.
In both cases the man ran away after someone confronted him.
A Michigan State Police forensic artist sketched this drawing of the suspect back in 2005.
They say there could be some changes in his appearance but hope someone may recognize him and give them a call.
