KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Newschannel 3 has confirmed through multiple sources that Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will take over the former Rave Theater, which closed in November.
The public relations firm representing the Austin, Texas based chain said that an announcement on the new owners is expected sometime late Friday.
Alamo Drafthouse is a movie theater-restaurant-bar concept, popular in college towns.
There are currently 10 locations, mostly in the south.
