Interview: Kevin Dockerty on State of the Union Address

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - President Obama called for bi-partisanship in Washington in last night's State of the Union Address.

The President laid out a number of proposals in the speech, including a minimum wage hike, a withdrawal of 34,000 U.S. troops from Afghanistan and closing tax loopholes to raise revenue in an effort to cut into the deficit.

KVCC political science professor Kevin Dockerty joined us in studio the morning after to give his take on the President's address.
