Kentwood native named Top Chef

SEATTLE, Wash. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Michigan is now home to a Top Chef.

Wednesday night Kentwood-native Kristen Kish was crowned the winner of Bravo TV's "Top Chef: Seattle."

The 28-year-old took home a prize of $125,000, along with a feature in "Food and Wine Magazine" and a spot at the Food and Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado.

For the final both chefs had to cook in front of a live audience and prepare five of their best dishes for 300 people.
