GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Hundreds of new jobs are headed to West Michigan, Newschannel 3 learned Wednesday.
The Michigan Strategic Fund announced a number of expansion initiatives, one of which involves Grand Rapids Downtown Market Holdings.
The group is building a huge facility downtown.
The project is expected to create nearly 300 jobs and pump about $30 million into the economy.
It was given a $3 million loan through the Michigan Community Revitalization Program.
