Testimony continues in Medema murder case
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Testimony continues for a third day Friday in the trial of a man accused of murdering of a local antiques dealer.
Bob Medema was beaten to death inside his home back in August.
He owned the Emporium Antiques Shop in downtown Kalamazoo.
Antonio Livingston and John Aguilar are charged with killing him.
Livingston is the first to stand trial.
Testimony in Livingston's trial again centered around the crime scene and evidence found there.
A forensic scientist took the stand. She told jurors that a pair of shoes found a few blocks from Medema's home had blood on them, as did the bat that was found next to Medema's body.
The shoes helped lead police to Livingston after someone recognized them as his and tipped police off.
