Funeral information announced for Mattawan firefighter
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Funeral information has been made official for a Mattawan firefighter who died of a what is believed to be a massive heart attack.
Nate Fruin was on his way to fight a fire on M-43 in Van Buren County on Tuesday night, when he went into cardiac arrest.
Visitation is set for this Saturday at 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Life Story Funeral Homes on Stadium Drive.
The funeral will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Portage.
The family has asked that any donations be sent to the following groups:
