(AP) - Democrat Mark Schauer has made his Michigan gubernatorial campaign official by turning in about 27,000 signatures from all 83 counties to election officials.The former state lawmaker was joined by supporters Friday afternoon at the secretary of state building in Lansing. He is the only Democratic candidate expected to file for the August primary.Schauer says "people are angry" with budget cuts and tax increases approved by incumbent Republican Gov. Rick Snyder. Schauer says voters will support him for governor "because they want fairness," opportunities and "an economy that works for everyone."Snyder turned in 1,000 fewer petitions Thursday. Schauer told his supporters he's "confident" they will "make sure this is only the first time" he beats Snyder.
