Bus crash injures driver and students

CALIFORNIA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The California Highway Patrol is investigating after a bus crash left the driver and eleven middle school students injured.

Officials say the driver may not have hit his brakes before he slammed into several trees in Anaheim Thursday.

Two of those students and the driver are in critical condition right now.

The driver had to be freed from the wreckage.

Crews on scene say the bus did have seatbelts, but it's not clear if the students were wearing them.
