Unidentified remains from 9-11 to be moved to museum

NEW YORK (NEWSHANNEL 3) - New York City is planning to move the remains of unidentified victims of the 2001 terror attacks to a repository at the 9-11 Memorial Museum.

The medical examiner's office holds the remains right now.

They will be moved to the museum later this year and kept behind a wall in an area off limits to the public.

Visitors will be able to view the wall, which will be inscribed with a quote from a roman poet, "No day shall erase you from the memory of time."
