WIND ADVISORY

Until 2 AM SATURDAY

A WIND ADVISORY continues in effect for only two counties in West Michigan: Calhoun and Eaton. Wind gusts have generally not reached Advisory criteria, hence the change from earlier today when most of West Michigan was affected. Even so, winds will remain gusty this evening, with gusts to 35 mph possible.

President orders review of deportation policies

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - President Obama is ordering a review of deportation policies.

The White House says the review will look to see if immigration enforcement can be more humane.

The president met with leaders of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Thursday.

The president told lawmakers he's deeply concerned about the pain families feel when they are separated because of the broken immigration system.

The announcement comes as immigrant rights activists, frustrated by the lack of progress in Congress, have been pressuring the president to halt all deportations.
