Looking at Presidential travel as Pres. Obama heads on 6-day European visit

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - President Obama wants Russia out of talks among the world's largest economic powers--the group known as the G8.

The President arrived in The Netherlands Monday for two days of talks with other world leaders about nuclear security.

The group of 8 countries, which focuses on economic issues was scheduled to convene in Sochi, Russia, later this summer.

But that looks doubtful as the President now lobbies against Russia's power grab following a takeover of Crimea from Ukraine.

This meeting is part of a 6-day European trip for the President, which comes as a new report finds President Obama is the most traveled President in U.S. history.
